Life is too short to be depressed. It's too short to spend time lying on the bed staring at the wall because you don't feel like you can do anything. For some reason it's hard not to.
This blog will be on temporary hiatus. I haven't had the energy to do much of anything recently, but hopefully my situation will work itself out fairly soon, because I'm going to have to postpone both the Christmas album and Christmas itself. Something else might be released in their place. I appreciate all the occasional checking in people do to this blog, just to see if I've posted anything. Once Future Mythologies returns, it will most definitely be better than before.
I'm listening to
Strangeways, Here We Come because I realize that the last time I was in England, this album hadn't come out yet. I really want to go back. More on that thought later. I've also decided that Johnny Marr is the world's all-time greatest guitarist. Fuck Jimi Hendrix. He's great, but he can't do what Johnny Marr does. I might do a breakdown on the Smiths whole career to elaborate on this point. Right now I'm planning my singles analysis, but I'm starting with the Beatles and I really haven't been into the Beatles singles too much lately. Not sure why. I'll write back soon!
